Trainer Bjorn Baker and jockey Glyn Schofield have been fined $4000 and $2000 respectively after breaching Covid-19 protocol.   The offense: The pair placed their arms around each other's shoulders and took a selfie.

Both were told they needed to be tested for Covid-19.

James Lamb of Punters writes:

As well as being fined the sum of $4000, Baker was also informed that his conduct will now be considered as part of the show cause hearing to be conducted by Racing NSW in respect to another COVID-19-related indiscretion.

Baker failed to report to Racing NSW in respect to two staff members, one who had attended a hotel identified by the NSW Department of Health as having a positive COVID-19 case and another who was in close contact of a person that attended the same venue.

Both men, who pleaded guilty to COVID-19 breaches, will not be allowed to return to a racetrack until the results of their tests are known.
