Nebraska head coach Scott Frost was adament Monday his team will look elsewhere should the Big 10 elect not to play fall football. Nebraska and Iowa reportedly were the only teams in the conference that voted in favor of playing. A Big Ten spokesperson later denied any such vote took place.

"We're a proud member of the Big Ten. I think it's the best conference in the country. We want to play a Big Ten schedule," Frost said. "I think our university is committed to playing football any way we possibly can, regardless of what anybody else does. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to get our guys on the field and let them show the progress they’ve made in a safe environment.
“Our university is committed to playing no matter what. No matter what that looks like. We want to play no matter who it is or where it is. So we’ll see how those chips fall. We certainly hope it's in the Big Ten, but if it isn't we're prepared to look for other options."

Both the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines, arguably two of the Big Ten's biggest powerhouses, came out swinging after news broke Monday that the conference was planning to make an official announcement within the next 24 hours.
Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh released a statement in support of playing.
Shortly after Harbaugh issued the press release, Michigan and Ohio State’s verified football social media accounts began Retweeting statements in support off playing football this fall, effectively defying their presidents’ reported votes of no confidence, KentuckySportsRadio's Nick Roush writes.
