Can I Place a Bet on the FanDuel App From Toronto

While watching Raptors games you are bound to see plenty of advertisements and displays for FanDuel Sportsbook.  Unfortunately, Toronto residents are not permitted to play there.  Alternatives include BetUS, which is now celebrating its 25th year in business and offers a generous 100% welcome bonus (max bonus $2500).

In addition to the Raptors, Toronto sports fans have some other top teams including the Maple Leafs in Hockey and Blue Jays in Major League Baseball.

The Raptors continue to be the power house sports franchise in Toronto as they enter the Semi-Finals versus the Boston Celtics beginning Sunday August 30.

The Raptors enter this series second in opponent field goal percentage (42.8%) and first in opponent 3-point percentage (33.7%).

Boston has had Toronto's number, winning three of the last four meetings and five of the last seven.

Heading into this series the Raptors would pay out $750 for every $100 bet to win the 2020 NBA Championship.

Following their run at the 2020 playoffs, Toronto traded forward Kasperi Kapanen to the Pittsburgh Penguins as part of a multi-trade deal August 25.

In four years with the Maple Leafs, Kapanen had 41 goals and 49 assists in 202 games. He hit the 20-goal mark for the first time in 2018-19. But he struggled in the NHL restart, as the Maple Leafs lost a qualifying-round series to the Columbus Blue Jackets. He had just two assists in the five-game series.

FanSided's Jordan Maresky writes: "The Toronto Maple Leafs are going to be busy this offseason. It is safe to say major changes are a must and anything less than that is not going to go over well."

As far as the Blue Jays go, they would pay out $8000 for every $100 bet to win the 2020 World Series.  The Blue Jays were 16-14 as of August 29.

Let us not forget that Toronto does have a Major League Soccer team and sort of has an NFL team in the form of the Buffalo Bills
