The line on the Raptors-Celtics game was coming down Toronto -2 to -1.

The Clippers vs. Nuggets line opened LA -9.5 and has moved to -9 overnight.

The Toronto Raptors will look to ride the momentum of a miracle win to a tied best-of-seven series when they face the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Saturday night near Orlando.

A half-second was all that stood between the Raptors and a 3-0 series deficit in Game 3 on Thursday before OG Anunoby beat the buzzer with a 3-pointer for a 104-103 victory. Instead of falling into a hole no team in NBA history has ever emerged from, Toronto has new life in its quest to defend its NBA title.

"All we needed was one to get the juice back, a little magic," Raptors guard Fred VanVleet said. "You know, get the momentum going on your side. We've got to try and tie this thing up Saturday."

The Raptors are 1-6 Against The Spread in the last 7 meetings in Boston.  This one of course will be played in Orlando with the Celtics technically the designated home team and in control of the fan noise.

The Los Angeles Clippers will try to duplicate their dominating Game 1 performance when their Western Conference semifinal matchup with the Denver Nuggets resumes Saturday in the NBA bubble near Orlando.

Kawhi Leonard scored 19 of his 29 points in the first half as the Clippers pounded the Nuggets 120-97 in the series opener Thursday. Leonard, who rested in the fourth quarter, connected on 12 of 16 shots from the floor.

He and the Clippers took control of the contest in the second quarter by building an 18-point halftime cushion. They continued to pour it on in the third quarter, holding the Nuggets to 16 points in the period.

"The first quarter was great because I liked the pace with which we played with on offense. The ball was moving, and we were making plays for each other," said Denver coach Michael Malone, whose team was even at 31-31 after the opening 12 minutes. "And I felt as they started to build a lead and (pulling) away, we resorted to zero pass possessions, one pass and we settled for so many threes. We put no pressure on their defense."

Nuggets are 2-7 ATS in the last 9 meetings in Los Angeles.  LA has control over crowd noise as this one is played in Orlando.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
