McGregor-Poirier Fight January 23? Conor Tweets "Yes"

Conor McGregor revealed Wednesday via his Twitter account that he has accepted a Jan. 23 fight against Dustin Poirier.  BetOnline already had a line on this fight with Poirier at +155 and McGregor -180

McGregor does have one demand.  He wants the fight to take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys.

"Jerry Jones is a friend and the stadium can hold our crowd," McGregor said in his tweet. "I will be ready for Texas and Texas will be ready for my fans! Then Manny."

Poirier responded to McGregor on Twitter: "Close to home for me on my birthday weekend! What weight?"

McGregor has agreed to the fight only verbally. There is no bout agreement yet, sources said.

Poirier said Wednesday on Ariel Helwani's MMA Show that the UFC has yet to reach out to him about the fight.
