The popular Golden Casino brand will be closing its doors to US players come December 1, 2009.  The announcement is believed to relate to an investigation overseen by the US Attorney's Office out of Baltimore, Maryland.

Existing Golden Casino players will still be able to login, play, and cash out their winnings just like they have been since the casino launched more than 10 years ago. So too will affiliates continue to be paid on their existing Golden Casino player referrals.

Management at Golden Casino told SlotsGeek.com that

"No cash from players or affiliates will be unpaid, but no longer will new players be able to register accounts with Golden Casino and make deposits."

As first reported by Gambling911.com September 18, federal authorities in the US were speaking directly with actual customers of Golden Casino regarding their accounts with the company.
