PGA Golf to Begin Making Gambling References This Week

The relationship between golf and gambling will get that much closer this week as the PGA Tour is set to begin discussing odds this week.

Betting on golf has increased in popularity in recent years, especially with the likes of daily fantasy sites such as Draftkings and FanDuel offering huge golf-oriented contests.

Now both sites have joined forces with the PGA to provide real betting odds.  FanDuel and Draftkings are licensed to take bets in a handful of US states.  The PGA Tour has also partnered with BetMGM and PointsBet.

This week will mark the official talk of player odds to win, updated throughout the tournament.  Prop bets may also be incorporated.  It is expected that individual players will soon be able to sport bookmaker-sponsored atire.
