Female Viagra Arouses the Interest of Oddsmakers

With news that the new antidepressant drug flibanserin is being viewed as the "female Viagra", online oddsmakers are taking notice both Stateside and abroad. 

"Female loss of sexual desire does not have to mean a lost wager!" says Payton O'Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website.  "BetUS.com has already taken notice and plans on releasing odds related to the new female Viagra in the not-so-distant future."

BetUS.com, just in the past week began offering odds on such things as the next NBA coach to be fired.  The company enjoyed great success with their David Letterman betting props that included whether former assistant Stephanie Birkitt would be indicted in connection to an extortion attempt against Letterman and whether the late night talk show host would be disciplined by CBS. 

At least one European online bookmaker had begun offering odds on the first female celebrity to begin endorsing the female Viagra.

Flibanserin is a drug produced by Boehringer Ingelheim.

"It is a 5-HT1A serotonin receptor agonist, a 5-HT2A serotonin receptor antagonist, and a dopamine D4 receptor partial agonist that had initially been developed as an anti-depressant," Ms. O'Brien said.
