Biden Closes -900 to Become Next President

Democrat candidate Joe Biden closed as a -900 favorite to become the next US President Wednesday night.

That line was all over the place with BetOnline at one point offering GOP candidate and sitting President Donald Trump as a -400 favorite during live in-play betting, which kicked off once results started flowing in.  Biden was a -180 to -200 favorite the weeks leading up to the Election.

Biden appeared to be well on his way to winning the Electoral College vote.   By Thursday night, the remaining vote in Pennsylvania was expected to highly favor Biden and push the former Vice President past Trump's lead.  Georgia could also be a narrow win for Biden.

While Biden led in Arizona, incoming votes Thursday night favored Trump.

A candidate requires 270 electoral votes to become President.

Dave Mason of BetOnline confirmed Wednesday that the 2020 US Presidential Election was the single most wagered on event in the history of BetOnline.
