Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is not favored to break the rookie receiving record of 1377 yards, according to the oddsmakers at BetOnline.

They have him with the following odds:

Yes +110

No -150

This past Sunday, Jefferson eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards in his rookie season, becoming only the second Vikings rookie to ever record 1,000 receiving yards in a season.

Hall of Famer Randy Moss had 69 catches for 1,313 yards and a rookie-record 17 scores in 1998.

Jefferson also became just the ninth wide receiver since 2010 to record 1,000-plus yards as a rookie.  He has certainly contributed to the Vikings red hot play of late.

Following a 1-5 start, the Vikings find themselves in the Playoff hunt with a game against the Bucs on Sunday.  Minnesota is a steady +6.5 dog.

"Usually after you win a game there's a lot of hootin' and hollerin' going on in the locker room," coach Mike Zimmer said. "The last two weeks it hasn't been like that because they know they can play way better than what they're playing, so I think right now they feel fortunate to be where they are but they understand -- I know they understand and I continue to preach it -- that we have to stop doing these things. It's going to cost us games down the road. If we stop doing those things and we continue to play with the heart and fight and things we have, we have a chance to play."

With a victory over the Bruins, the Huskies would clinch bowl eligibility. This would seem to be the Huskies best shot at securing a postseason berth, with No. 1 ranked Oregon looming in the regular season finale next week.
