Michael Chandler vs. Dan Hooker will be an undercard in what promises to be one of the most trafficked and wagered on events of the new decade January 23, 2021. The line opened -110 for both fighters at BetOnline.
That's some undercard!
But consider the main fight at UFC 257. That's a bout between former two-division champion Conor McGregor and former interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier.
Chandler (21-5) signed with the UFC in September after ten years in Bellator, including multiple stints as the promotion’s lightweight champ. He was on standby for the UFC 254 main event between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethj.
Hooker is #6 in the official UFC rankings, having earned that through his three-fight win streak prior to losing to Poirier.
