The San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals game featured a line of Arizona -5.  The line had opened at -3.

This is only a meaningful game for Arizona outside of pride.

The Cardinals (8-6) remain in the running for a playoff spot. They are two games behind Seattle (10-4) in the NFC West and one back of the Los Angeles Rams (9-5). Arizona visits the Rams next week.  The Cards do not have to rely on either of those teams losing one or two of their remaining games.

Arizona can clinch a wild card this weekend with a win over the 49ers and a Chicago (7-7) loss to Jacksonville (1-13).

Using the current 5-point spread, San Francisco has covered in the last four meetings.  Arizona had won six previous games, only one of which the 49ers covered using the current spread.
