The Nuggets-Nets game line was coming in as a PICK'EM with the drama in Brooklyn continuing Tuesday.

The NBA is in the process of examining videos posted to social media that appear to show Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving at a large gathering without a mask or social distancing.

ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Malika Andrews reported Tuesday there's "no belief" Irving will return to the Nets lineup this week while the league investigates the situation.

The league's COVID-19 guidelines forbid players from going to clubs, bars and lounges. They also ban attending social gatherings of more than 15 people.

Irving will miss his fourth consecutive game Tuesday night.  He had been sidelined for personal reasons.  When asked for an update on Irving's status, Nets coach Steve Nash told reporters: "I do not have any updates, sorry."

The Nets (5-6) have lost back-to-back games and sit tied for ninth in the Eastern Conference with the Knicks and Cavaliers.  Brooklyn still had the second shortest odds of winning the 2021 NBA Championship at 5-1.

The home team in the Brooklyn-Denver series has won seven of the last ten games with the Nets winning two of the three away games over this span and they have lost their last two games overall.

Denver is 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a straight up win.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
