The Portland Trailblazers start their extended road trip in Houston as a +4.5 dog.  The Trailblazers lost their last game while the Rockets appear to be jelling now with three consecutive wins.

Portland has won five of the last six versus Houston.

Using the current +4.5 spread, Portland has covered in eight of the last ten games versus Houston.

Houston is 6-13 Against The Spread in their last 19 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game.

Houston is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 24 points, Mike Muscala added 23, and the Oklahoma City Thunder snapped a three-game losing streak with a 125-122 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night.

Damian Lillard, who had scored 30 or more points in his last three games, had 26 points and 10 assists for the Blazers. Anfernee Simons had 26 points off the bench and Enes Kanter added 13 points and 22 rebounds.

Lillard made a franchise record 67 straight free throws, a streak that ended against the Thunder when he missed one in the opening quarter. ... Rodney Hood was a late scratch because of a thigh contusion. ... Derrick Jones Jr. had a quad contusion during the game but returned.

John Wall scored 24 points in his first game against his former team, leading the Houston Rockets to a 107-88 victory over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night.

Wall had 15 points and four assists by halftime, including a left-handed layup that came after a nifty behind the back move and put Houston up 53-45 in the second quarter. He cooled off in the third, but got going again in the fourth to secure the win in his second game back after missing five with a sore left knee.
