Following the firing of Charlie Weis as Notre Dame's head coach, the oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com were quick to post odds on who will coach Notre Dame football next.

The favorite:  That would be Brian Kelly at 2-1 odds.

Interestingly enough, at press time, Kelly might be out of the running as reports were surfacing that he had come to terms with the University of Cincinnati, finalizing the terms of a multi-year contract.

The next best bet might be Jim Harbaugh, who would pay out $5 for every $2 wagered.

Notre Dame Football - Who will be the next Football Head Coach (No Action If the bet is placed after the result has become public knowledge)

Brian Kelly 2-1

Jim Harbaugh 5-2

Randy Edsall 7-2

Butch Davis 9-2

Urban Meyer 5-1

Bob Stoops 6-1

Tony Dungy 10-1

Jon Gruden 10-1

"With Charlie Weis firing and Notre Dame's rabid fans, this story is/will be in the news a ton," said Dave Stanley, spokesperson for Sportsbook.com.
