Gambling911.com has projected that the early line on Baylor in the Sweet 16 will be 7.5 vs. Villanova.  The Wildcats will not have point guard Collin Gillespie (season ending knee injury).  Gillespie's absence sheds 2.5 points off the Nova line, and this is already factored into the +7.5 number we project against Baylor. Indeed, this one did open -6.5 late Sunday.

Davion Mitchell scored 16 points and spearheaded a dominant defensive first half, helping top-seeded Baylor avoid another NCAA Tournament upset with a 76-63 win over Wisconsin on Sunday.

The knock on Baylor entering the NCAA Tournament was that the Bears weren’t quite as good coming off their second COVID-19 pause as they while were winning the first 18 games of the season.

Dominant Baylor showed up in the opener after a shaky start, hitting 11 3-pointers in a 79-55 win over Hartford.

Baylor's promises a payout of $500 on every $100 bet should they go on to win the 2021 NCAA Tournament Championship.

Villanova beat the Mean Green 84-61 in a romp.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
