Poker Pro Lynne Beaumont Accuses Terik Brown in Bitcoin Scam, Case Takes Sinister Turn

US pro Terik (Tizzy) Brown is accused by English poker player Lynne Beaumont of scamming her out of several Bitcoin totalling $170,000. Ms. Brown, who splits her time between Vegas and her home country of Great Britain, made the allegations via the ‘Mixed Game Poker in Vegas’ Facebook page.

She writes:

“I have been putting off posting this for some months now, as I know once the world knows what a thief and/or a con-man Terik (Tizzy) Brown is, I will probably have lost any chance of getting the money that he has owed me for some 16 months now.”

  • Beaumont claims she invested “almost $40k” with Brown in 2019 for cryptocurrency trading and attempted to cash out after her investment fell to $27K, to no avail.
  • She says: “Three times he has agreed to make regular payments to settle the debt. So far I have received one payment. In December 2020, he finally paid 0.0805 BTC (approx $1500 at the time). And then he blocked me again.”
  • The price of Bitcoin has since shot up in recent months to a high just above $60K.
  • “Frankly, he has sold his soul for $27k - almost 4 BTC. That is now worth over $200k. I feel genuinely very sick about this. This should be a very exciting time for me, and he has spoiled that. This money is incredibly significant to me.”
  • Brown lists his occupation as Business Development Manager for Seattle area-based ‘Bank of Crypto’ since September 2019 on his LInkedIn page
  • Brown was previously a marketing executive for CasinoHost.com for 8 years.

And now Beaumont is claiming she has received strange visits to a former home she occupied, followed by sinister phone calls.

The visit from an unidentified woman was captured on a Ring video security cam.  Other surveilance shows the woman with an unidentified man roaming the property and attempting to find Beaumont's new address.

“I recognised her voice when she called me the next day. She told me ‘not to say anything’ and spelled out that old full address. She claimed she was calling about Bank of Crypto - Brown's business name - and for me to stop defaming him, talking about his family etc. When I started to say ‘but it isn't defamatory though is it, because it is true’ she just hung up.”

“It’s all very odd. Not really the actions of an innocent man - to get somebody in the UK to intimidate me.”

PokerHost has repeatedly attempted to contact Brown to no avail.

A Google search of "Bank of Crypto" does not return any notable searches.
