Apparently, Medina Spirit's Kentucky Derby run didn't impress the number crunchers enough to move him into the favorite position for the second leg of the Triple Crown. Medina Spirit pays $40 for every $10 bet, $400 for every $100 bet.

Not only is Essential Quality the favorite to win the Preakness, he has nearly identical odds for the Preakness Stakes.
Robert Cooper, the sportsbook's odds manager, said that he thinks "there is a huge chance Medina Spirit does not run" in the Preakness.
That may have all changed Monday afternoon after trainer Bob Baffert indicated his horse is likely to run.
“He came out of it well,” Baffert told reporters Sunday morning at Churchill Downs. “It takes about a week to determine, so I’m going to come back next weekend and see. I don’t see anything that would discourage me right now.”
