When it comes to Sunday's betting action in the NFL, the online sportsbooks will most certainly be rooting for a Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys cover.  Both Green Bay and San Diego were the two most wagered on teams during Week 14.

The Packers had almost 90 percent of the public action as a -4 road favorite while the Chargers were getting around 60 percent as a +3 ½ underdog.

The San Diego Chargers vs. Dallas Cowboys game was among the most wagered on Sunday with the heaviest action even early in the day despite this being a late afternoon game.

A review of the line trends suggests that Green Bay might be able to cover here though the same cannot be said of Dallas.

The Packers and Bears have split their respective series while Dallas last beat San Diego in 2005 by 4 points.  The Chargers have won 7 straight coming into this game.

Indianapolis at -6 1/2 against Denver and the Bengals at +6 were two heavily bet on sides, however, both their respective games were getting significant wagering action, balancing things out quite a bit.

NFL betting used to be built mostly around teams. Bettors looked at spreads, totals, moneylines, injuries, weather and coaching matchups. Those pieces are still there, but the modern football betting board is much more player-driven than it used to be.
