The Brunson Family Puts $50,000 and Copies of Doyle's New Book Under the Tree in Family Christmas Bounty Tournament
Doyle Brunson and his family are getting ready to spread over $50,000 in Christmas cheer to DoylesRoom.com players this week. The entire Brunson family, including Doyle, Todd and Pam, will be the featured bounties in this Wednesday's $50k Bounty Tournament at DoylesRoom.com. The top 100 players will also win a copy of Doyle's new book The Godfather of Poker.
For just $27.50, bounty hunters can buy into the Brunson Family Christmas Bounty Tournament at 9:30pm ET and play for a prize pool that includes up to $50,000 in bounty money. Any player who knocks out one of the Brunson family members will win $1,000 in bounty cash. Two Brunson family knockouts will earn the bounty hunter $10,000 and three knockouts will earn the successful player $50,000.
In addition to up to $50,000 in bounty money, the Brunson Family Christmas Bounty Tournament prize pool includes 100 copies of Brunson's new book, The Godfather of Poker, which retails for $26.95 at Barnes & Noble and other popular book retailers. Any player who finishes in the top 100 will win a copy of the book.
The Brunson Family won't necessarily be the only marked players in the tournament. Mike Caro and Hoyt Corkins have also been invited to play. While not yet confirmed to play, each one will be marked with a $1,000 bounty, should they take a seat.
In the spirit of Christmas, the poker room manager is inviting new players to play in the bounty tournament for free. All first time players will receive a full refund upon conclusion of the tournament whether they win or lose.
