Payout Odds - Tokyo Olympics Men's Swimming 400M Freestyle
Elijah Winnington is the favorite to win the Tokyo Olympics Swimming 400M Freestyle Men's gold. The payout is $110 for every $100 bet or $11 for every $10 bet.
Winnington is an Australian competitive swimmer who specialises in the sprint freestyle events.
With reigning champion Mack Horton failing to make the cut in the same race and China’s world champion Sun Yang banned for doping offences, the battle for the gold medal is wide open.
“It’s all about bettering myself,” Winnington told reporters from Australia’s training camp in Cairns.
“I’m going into the 400 ranked number one so if I can just improve on myself, I think the results will come.
“I’ve only been with my coach for a year and I’ve been improving every major meet I’ve come to, I’ve hopped in the pool and I’ve done better and better,” he added.
“I’m really putting no expectations on how fast I can swim ... it just seems to be getting better and better.”
Jack McLoughlin comes in with the second shortest odds paying $300 for every $100 bet. He has competed in the men's 1500 metre freestyle event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Gabriele Detti is close behing him paying $350 for every $100 bet.
