Gregorio Paltrinieri pays slightly better than EVEN odds to win the Men’s 800m Freestyle- Swimming - Tokyo Olympics.
- Italy's Paltrinieri is the current 1500 m freestyle (short course) world record holder.
- He is the Olympic and world long course and short course champion.
- Paltrinieri is the three-times European long course champion in the 1500 m freestyle event at the 2012, 2014 and 2016 European Aquatics Championships.
- He is also the two-times European long course champion in the 800 m freestyle event.
- Mykhailo Romanchuk, who represents Ukraine, is favored at some books over Paltrinieri but we have him paying $200 for every $100 bet.
- Romanchuk holds several distance freestyle national records.
- He set a world cup record of 14:15.49 in the 1500 meter freestyle (short course) in 2016 at the the Singapore World Cup leg.
- Australian swimmer Jack McLoughlin pays $400 for every $100 bet to win the gold in the Men’s 800m Freestyle.
- McLoughlin won a gold medal in the men's 1500 metre freestyle event at the 2018 Commonwealth Game and silver medal in the 400 metre freestyle.
