Odds Suggest History Will Be Made in Boston Mayoral Election

According to the oddsmakers, history will be made in Boston's mayoral election this November.

Boston's six-candidate field for September's primary is diverse, with all but one being people of color and all but two being women. If a woman is elected, as the odds suggest, it will be the first time in history Boston elects a woman mayor.

SportsBetting.ag has odds for the mayoral race, and acting Mayor Kim Janey and Michelle Wu are the odds-on favorites with 5/6 (or -120) odds.

Annissa Essaibi George is third on the betting list with 14/1 odds while Andrea Campbell is a longshot with 40/1 odds.

The two men on the list, John Barros and Jon Santiago, each have 100/1 odds.
