The Hastings, Nebraska baseball team won its Little League World Series opener over New Jersey, 5-2, on Thursday in Williamsport, PA. Nebraska came into this game as one of the long shots to win the LLWS in 2021.
Hastings jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
Kowen Rader scored the first run on a wild pitch. They lead 3-0 by the second inning. Hunter Nepple’s RBI double scored Owen Ablott both scored in that frame.
