What Are The Payout Odds - Steelers Beat The Bills - Week 1

The Pittsburgh Steelers beating the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL season pays out nicely: $235 for every $100 bet.

The Steelers have some good wiggle room to cover here for those betting the spread.  They were listed as the +7 underdog.

Pittsburgh completely unraveled during the waning 5 weeks of last season after going undefeated for the first 11 weeks.

Two of those four losses were by margins less than the current spread of 7 points.

In the last two years, Pittsburgh has lost to Buffalo by 7 or more points in their last two meetings.

Athlon writes of the upcoming Steelers season:

"Though the Steelers likely won’t be predicted by many to defend their division crown, their mix of a savvy quarterback, explosive offensive playmakers and game-changers at every level of the defense will make them tough to dethrone."

Just be mindful that the Bills did put together a 10-1 record in games they were listed as the moneyline favorite last season (winning 90.9% of those games).

Among the favorable changes we see for the Steelers coming into this game, they are expected to have an improved run game.

The Bills pay out $1200 for every $100 bet to win the Super Bowl while Pittsburgh pays $425 for every $100 bet to win the AFC North and is favored to win UNDER 9 regular season games.
