Don't even think about it!  What was expected to be a very competitive game has now shifted from -2 to -7 with the Michigan Wolverines favored to beat the Washington Huskies at home Saturday.  The payout should the Huskies win outright would be $220 on a $100 bet.

But Washington suffered a Week 1 upset at the hands of Montana.

Now they are saying they're about to make amends versus Michigan.  The guys at the BetUS NCAAF Show are reluctant to bet on the Wolverines here, at least not at -7.

"We should not have played the way we played on Saturday night and that's why I feel so bad for our fans, for our supporters," Washington head coach Jimmy Lake said on Monday. "They should be disappointed. They should be pissed, just like we are. All we can do now is move forward here and make amends. And that's what we're trying to do."

It's being called the most embarassing loss in the history of the Washington Huskies football program.  This, after all, was a team considered a dark horse to make a Playoff appearance.  Instead, they were beaten by a lower division opponent and held to the least number of points in 11 years.

We've got to be better prepared, we've got to have a better plan and we did not execute a good plan," Lake said. "It all starts with coaching first, and it starts with me."

And, yes, there are those who believe Washington will take it all out on Michigan this week.
