Oddsmaker Dave Mason: Trump Closing the Gap
An abrupt Afghanistan withdrawal and surge in Coronavirus may be having a negative impact on US President Joe Biden's odds.
Dave Mason revealed via Twitter Wednesday night that former US President Trump was within a half point of Biden's odds to be elected President in 2024. Biden was coming in at +350, Trump at +400.

Biden's approval rating fall to 42 percent, a drop of four points since early August, according to the Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday.
Vice President Kamala Harris odds were tied with Trump at 4-1.
The next best odds for a Republican had Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at 9-1.
DeSantis, once considered the heir apparent to Trump, has seen his approval rating collapse in recent weeks. A Morning Consult survey of nearly 4,200 voters revealed a drop of 14 points in July. This dip was most prominent among Independents, down from 50% to 38%. Florida has suffered one of the worst Covid surges in the nation.
