The Las Vegas Police Department released a police report detailing the circumstances surrounding the arrest of UFC fighter Jon Jones just hours before being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame last week.

injuring or tampering with a vehicle (a felony) and misdemeanor battery domestic violence. Jones was released Friday evening on $8,000 bail and is due back in court on Oct. 26.

The incident occurred on the Vegas Strip shortly after 6 am.  Jones was described as irate at the time of his arrest.

A woman interviewed at the Caesars Palace stated that Jones was a "little" physical with her, however, officers found blood on her clothing.

The woman, whom ESPN is not identifying, told police that Jones was aggressive with her, but not violent, per the report. He grabbed the back of her hair to prevent her from leaving the hotel room. Police observed the woman with a swollen lower lip and a red mark on her upper right cheek. The woman did not allow photos to be taken, nor did she agree to a voluntary statement or recording of the interview.
