Gronk Likely to Sit Out New England Reunion Does Little to Change Bucs-Patriots Line

The oddsmakers reacted to news that Rob Gronkowski will likely not be playing Sunday by keeping the line at either Tampa Bay -6.5 or -7 Saturday afternoon.

The tight end would have played his first game in Foxborough as a member of the Bucs.

Tom Brady and Gronkowski played for the New England Patriots together for nine years, winning three Super Bowls over that span and eventually reuniting on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to win another Super Bowl as part of that team last year.

Gronkowski did not travel with the team to New England this weekend.  He is dealing with a rib injury suffered when the five-time Pro Bowler caught a pass and was hit in the midsection by Rams' Terrell Lewis early in the third quarter.  It now appears as if he could miss multiple weeks.

The Bucs-Patriots game may be one of the most wagered on NFL games of the season thus far.
