Oddsmakers Believe Gruden's Job is Safe Over 'Big Lips' Email

Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is in hot water today over a comment he made in an email in 2011, but BetOnline feels his job is pretty safe at the end of the day.  They are offering pretty long odds that Gruden will be fired.

The email in question contained racist language.  Gruden reacted by saying that the comment he wrote was "horrible."

The Wall Street Journal reports that the email was sent to Washington Football Team exec Bruce Allen ... and included a disparaging remark about NFL Players Association executive director DeMaurice Smith.

"Dumboriss Smith has lips the size of michellin tires," Gruden wrote, according to the report.

Will Jon Gruden be the Raiders head coach at the end of 2021 regular season?
