What Happens When The Commentator Nearly Wins The Game?

Vegas-based broadcaster. PokerGO Break Desk Host/Play-by-Play/Sideline Reporter, Jeff Platt, got to break the news this week.  He finished 4th out of 3,991 in the WSOP Event 43: $1,000 Double Stack for $160,662!

PokerGO is Las Vegas-based subscription-based streaming service offering poker centric online streaming from a library of original shows and past event replays, as well as a focus on live programming.  It currently airs the popular long established program "Poker After Dark".

Platt admits it was a little awkward having to report on his own magnificent run.

"Tried to sum up my thoughts afterwards but really had no idea what to say."

Reporting on the conclusion of WSOP Event 43: $1,000 Double Stack, Flack noted that "just three players remain", adding that "I am not one of them".

He continued: "It was an incredible experience.  Out in 4th place.  I think they pay me just a little bit of money."

US player Anthony Denove ultimately walked away with the bracelet and a cool $446,983.
