Knicks vs. 76ers
For the past .... well .... say .... 20 years or so this particular series might attract a few Philly/New York area diehards but hardly made our mouths water until now. Heading into Saturday November 6, the Knicks were a surprising 6-3 (four of five won on the road) and the Sixers sat at 7-2.
Gambling911.com has an early line of Philadelphia -5 on this game. The actual line ranged from 76ers -3.5 to -4.5 so there is a definite underlay. The line on this game has come crashing down to Sixers -1 on news that Joel will be sitting out this one due to testing positive for Covid.
Because the Sixers have won 15 of the last 16 games (New York won the most recent meeting), books will likely shade this line a tad. That said, the Knicks have kept the last three games within a 3-point final margin. The tide is most certainly turning. Over the past ten meetings, New York has managed to keep the final score within six points in seven of those games.
