PrizePicks is legal in the Lone Star State Texas despite the state not offering any in-state regulated sports betting sites (those looking to engage in real money anonymous sports betting can still rely on tried and true sites like BetUS). The PrizePicks site focuses on the creation of a lineup of prop selections similar to that of a parlay prop selection in real money sports betting.

It's a relatively easy concept.

How Texas Teams Fared in the 2023 NCAA Tournament

(March 23, 2023) - Texas was again well represented in this year's NCAA Tournament with Houston the odds-on co-favorite to win it all along with Alabama.  Both those teams failed to advance past the Elite Eight.

Houston had advanced to play in the Sweet 16 following a win over Auburn but ultimately fell to Miami.

The Longhorns had the 6th shortest odds, paying $1000 on a $100 bet should they win it all.  They were set to face off against Creighton in the Sweet 16.

Texas Christian got through the first round with a 72-70 win over Arizona State but lost to Gonzaga in the second round.

Texas A&M-CC was the first time to bow out of this year's tournament and Texas A&M was quick to follow.
