LSU Warned About Florida Snatching Up Napier: "A Serious Miscalculation" (Latest Odds)
BetOnline has released its odds on who will take over the head coaching job in Florida with Billy Napier the odds-on favorite at 4-1. But Executive Director Reese's Senior Bowl and ESPN NFL draft analyst, Jim Nagy, warns that, if LSU lets him get away, this would be considered a "serious miscalculation".
Napier is currently the Ragin’ Cajuns head coach and LSU wants him bad. But could Florida be more eager?
The Gators fired head coach Dan Mullen on Sunday, a day after his sixth loss in nine games. Mullen had served as Florida head coach for four seasons that included a trip to the Southeastern Conference championship game last year.
Nagy tweeted:
If LSU lets Florida come into Louisiana and grab Billy Napier without making a serious push for him it could be end up being a serious miscalculation. Napier is ready for a big job and he already has great relationships with HS coaches in the state.

Napier is said to be among the Tigers top 3 finalists with the other two candidates being Baylor head coach Dave Aranda and Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell.
