Toe Woes: Rams-Packers Pick'Em as Rodgers Sits Out Practice
"It's a little worse than turf toe," Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers says, predicting it will still be hurting even next weekend. It's not the dreaded "Covid toe", at least that's what Rodgers claims. But the line on this game has gone from Green Bay -1.5 to +2.5.
Reports surfaced that Rodgers has missed practice ahead of the Rams-Packers game. After the loss to Minnesota, it was revealed that Rodgers had not practiced at all that week.
Rodgers joked on “The Pat McAfee Show” that he had “COVID toe” but implied between the lines that he actually had a fractured pinky toe. The Packers quarterback later said that he expected an apology from the Wall Street Journal for reporting that he had "Covid toe", which technically he said he did.
Rodgers also showed his foot to the media during a press conference, noting that there were no lesions, a common symptom of "Covid toe".
Drew Butler and former NFL player Anthony Becht discuss this NFL clash. The two seem more worried about the Rams than the Packers it appears.
