BCS Championship game odds have been continuously updated as the title game between Texas and Alabama was set to go off Thursday night.

The line on this game opened at Crimson Tide -4 ½ and, despite all the wild movements over the past few weeks, betting action has actually moved the odds right back to where they started.

Nearly everyone, including Sports Interaction, was offering BCS Championship game odds at -4 now.

"By Thursday, one would have thought there was even action on this game and little line fluctuations," commented Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

That was hardly the case.  Take a look at these wild line moves over the past few weeks at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood.

During the first week of BCS betting action, some books opened at Alabama -5 ½ and even moved the line as high as -6.

Despite all this, the betting action on the current spread still had just over 75 percent going the way of Alabama.  The bookmakers will be desperately rooting for Texas to cover here, specifically within a field goal or fewer points
