Bet the Next Head Coach of the Miami Dolphins

As of Tuesday January 11, 2022, Brian Daboll was the small favorite to be named Miami Dolphins next head coach, paying out $300 for every $100 bet.

The Dolphins fired head coach Brian Flores despite having two consecutive winning seasons in Miami.

The primary issues that Dolphins owner Stephen Ross cited for the decision seemed to have little to do with the on-field product and more with communication within the team’s braintrust — though there were no specific examples offered of how the team determined Flores wasn’t the right fit in those regards.

“I’ve been looking at this over three years now and watching the organization grow,” Ross said. “I think an organization can only function if it’s collaborative and it works well together, and I don’t think we were really working well as an organization ... to win consistently at the NFL level.”

The favorite Daboll is currently Buffalo's offensive coordinator.  He was named assistant coach of the year in 2020 and has been with the Bills since 2018.

The Dolphins and Bears have requested permission from the Bills to interview Daboll, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports.

Doug Pederson and Eric Bieniemy have the second shortest odds at 5-1 each.

Here are your Next Dolphins Head Coach candidates and payout odds (How to Read the Odds: +500 means that a $100 bet pays $500 or a $10 bet pays out $50)

DR Congo has 1 point and likely needs a win to have a realistic shot at advancing as a third-place team. Uzbekistan has 0 points and must win to stay alive. A draw probably eliminates Uzbekistan and likely does very little for DR Congo.
