Payout Odds - First Touchdown Scored Prop Bet Super Bowl 2022: Odell Beckham, Tyler Higbee, Tee Higgins
Even the favorites to score the first touchdown pay out pretty decent odds for the 2022 Super Bowl. Rams favorite Cooper Kupp would pay $550 on a $100 bet while Bengals favorite Joe Mixon pays $650.
And now for some of the more lucrative payout potentials.
Rams Odell Beckham Jr. would pay out $900 for every $100 bet if he were to score the first touchdown of the big game.
"It's been tough. It's a been a rough – since 2017, shattering your ankle, busting your ass, coming back time and time again and things just never went the way that I would like," Beckham said during a video conference with reporters on Saturday. "Like I keep talking about, it was just that faith, staying down, staying prayed up, never doubting or not believing in yourself, that makes this very special for me to have an opportunity to play in a Super Bowl. You sacrifice it all just for these moments."
In Los Angeles, Beckham posted 27 receptions for 305 yards and five touchdowns in eight regular season games, and has added 19 receptions for 231 yards and one touchdown during L.A.'s playoff run to Super Bowl LVI.
"I mean, playing in the Super Bowl is everything you could have ever dreamed of," Beckham said. "When I was sitting at home, and there was nothing but silence, and it was just me and God just sitting there, this is what came over me. It was Los Angeles Rams, and the opportunity to do exactly what we're doing right now. So it's just pretty crazy to me, just the power of manifestation, belief, faith, all those things, to be exactly where I'm at now, with the opportunity to win a Super Bowl."
His teammate, Tyler Higbee pays $1400 for every $100 bet.
His 17 career TD receptions is tied with Kendricks for second-most in team history behind Damone Johnson.
Higbee could potentially miss the Super Bowl after suffering a knee injury in the NFC Championship game against San Francisco. The tight end's status for the Super Bowl on Feb. 13 is not yet known, but he is not being ruled out for the game against the Bengals, and that is certainly a good sign.
Tee Higgins of the Bengals is another long shot to score the first touchdown of Super Bowl 2022. He would pay out $1100 on a $100 bet.
In the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Higgins caught 6 passes for 103 yards, leading the Bengals in receiving yards in the 27–24 overtime win to advance to Super Bowl LVI.
“It’s crazy. It’s still hasn’t hit me yet,” Higgins said to the media following Sunday’s game in regard to going to the Super Bowl. “But nah, it didn’t feel real at all. I ain’t gonna lie, it didn’t. It’s crazy because my second year in college, I went to the national championship, and now it’s my second year in the league and I’m going to the Super Bowl, man. I’m blessed.”
Everyone else pays $1600 and up on a $100 bet.
