Nathan Chen Beijing Winter Olympic Odds to Win Gold as Record Shattered Tuesday
American figure skater Nathan Chen broke a world record with his highest-ever score in Olympic men’s short program. Chen scored a 113.97, the highest-ever result for the event.
The 22-year-old is set to take part in the Men's Singles Free Skating Figure Skating medal event on Wednesday night in the US (8 pm ET), which promises to be one of the most anticipated competitions of the 2022 Winter Olympics thus far. He was the -165 favorite to win gold in this event prior to shattering the Olympic record Tuesday. We could see those odds increase over the next 24-plus hours so one can check for live updates here.
Many see Tuesday's feat as a redemption arc for Chen, who placed 17th the same program at PyeongChang four years ago and was unable to reach the podium despite a record-setting free skate and dominating the sport since.
Here are your odds for the Men's Singles Free Skating - Figure Skating (bets need to be placed no later than 8:30 pm ET Wednesday)
