Soccer in the Sunshine State

It's not just Miami, but Orlando City has a huge following in that Central Florida city.

Miami's Latino population makes Miami look like one of those nations that actually cares about the beautiful game during the World Cup.  There is a significant Brazilian, Columbian and Argentine population, especially in Miami Beach.

The Florida Cup, Concacaf Gold Cup matches, and Orlando City Soccer Club and Orlando Pride home games made Orlando a must-visit destination for serious soccer fans back in July of 2021.

As for Orlando City, the club had sold over 13,000 season tickets before playing its first match in March 2015, selling all 14,000 available season tickets later that month. As of the 2017 season, Orlando City's season ticket base stands at a cap of 18,000.

Get out of Disney World and head downtown, you'll see what we are talking about as folks dressed in Orlando City uniforms spill out onto the streets.

Are In-State Mobile Sports Betting Apps Available?

No.  And they probably won't be until the earliest 2026.  That's unless the Seminoles happen to win on appeal after a suit filed by another in-state gambling company prevening the tribe from going through with its state compact.  The owners of Magic City Casino were successful in preventing the Seminoles from launching their own mobile platform.

This doesn't mean you can't still place bets from Florida.  Sites like BetUS are more than happy to take your business.  These websites are browser-based so they won't kill your phone battery.
