Can't Bet on DraftKings From South Dakota

You cannot bet on DraftKings from the state of South Dakota, however, our friends at BetUS does accept players from SD.  They even offer 30 risk free bets to celebrate 30 years in business.

Other betting options in the state include retail casinos in Deadwood.

Sports wagering is now available in Deadwood at Cadillac Jack’s Gaming Resort, Tin Lizzie Gaming Resort, Gold Dust Casino and Mustang Sally’s. Additional operators expected to launch in October include: The Lodge at Deadwood, Dale’s Sportsbook at Deadwood Mountain Grand, Gold Country Inn and Deadwood Station Bunkhouse.

The state is attempting to push through a measure that would allow for in-state operators to offer mobile wagering.  Currently only those sites based outside South Dakota like BetUS are accessible.

South Dakota enjoyed quite a run in college basketball during the 2021-22 season with their beloved South Dakota State Jackrabbits entering the tournament with an 18-0 run in the Summit League.  They won 30 games and had no losses since December 15.
