Man Stabbed on Vegas Strip as Homeless Take Over Pedestrian Bridges Between Casinos

A man was stabbed to death on a pedestrial bridge near the New York New York Casino over the weekend.  While details related to the victim are limited, the alleged killer is a 58-year-old homeless drug addict named Freddy Allen.  The two individuals had been involved in a verbal altercation prior to the stabbing.

The report details that when officers arrived at the scene, Allen was holding a knife and tried to flee from officers but was caught and detained.

Allen is accused of murder with a deadly weapon and booked at the Clark County Detention Center.

Network in Vegas claims that incidents on pedestrial bridges have become commonplace as a result of the growing homeless crisis.

While the local media ignores these stories, people who frequent the Las Vegas Strip know the pedestrian bridges have become a growing problem. From pimps and drug dealers trying to hard sell you out in the open to homeless addicts shooting up, shitting themselves, and screaming at you while you pass, crossing these bridges can be like playing a game of Russian Roulette.
