Red Sox vs. Yankees Game Postponement, Suspended Odds

Red Sox vs. Yankees Game Postponement Odds

Thursday's game has been postponed

Only Thursday's afternoon opening day game appeared to be under threat early on.  Gambling911.com was giving this one odds of 90% to be postponed, up from 75% on Tuesday.

Rain was forecast through the afternoon hours with a high around 50F. Winds E at 10 to 20 mph. The chance of rain was 100%. Rainfall was forecast to be around a half an inch.

The rain was also expected to continue through the evening hours.  There was a chance the rain could have exited around the evening, thus offering an opportunity for a game delay.  That no longer appeared to be the case heading into Thursday morning.

The Yankees are listed at 12-1 odds to win the 2022 World Series while Boston was coming in at 18-1 odds.
