UFC 274 Justin Gaethje vs. Charles Oliveira Betting Odds

Justin Gaethje will face off against Charles Oliveira May 7, same day as the Kentucky Derby, making this a massive day for sports betting. Gaethje was priced at +140, Oliveira -160.

UFC 274 will take place at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.  The event was initially supposed to headline Glover Teixeira and former Rizin Light Heavyweight Champion Jiří Procházka, but the UFC has since pushed back that fight.

The headliners will instead be current Lightweight champ Oliveira and former interim champion Gaethje (also former WSOF Lightweight Champion).

There was an early war of words between the two fighters with Oliveira claiming Gaethje was ‘coming up with a lot of bullsh-t’ ahead of UFC 274.

“I think that’s what he’s trying to do, to win the mind game," Oliveira said. "But that makes no difference to me. I learned that we have two ears to listen but we also have to let it out… If he thinks he can beat me in a standing fight, he can try to knock me out. If he thinks he’s a better wrestler than me, he can take me down too.”

This is a likely reference to Gaethje’s comments about him being a ‘quitter’.

“He is not the best in this weight class. I can promise you that. He still has quit, and it’s not even very deep down inside of him,” Gaethje said of Oliveira after their matchup was first announced earlier this year.

One can expect to find plenty of prop bets on all the UFC 274 bouts the days leading up to May 7.
