Collision 2022: The Largest International Tech Event in Canada Since the Pandemic Began Sells Out

The highly anticipated Collision Conference, to be held in Toronto June 20, 2022, is officially sold out as of Wednesday morning just five days before the massive tech show kicks off.

Collision caters to all sectors of tech including gaming and crypto.

More than 35,000 people from around the world are set to convene at Enercare Centre.

With demand for in-person events increasing rapidly, the number of attendees has grown by 40%, from 25,000 in 2019 to 35,000 in 2022.  It is the biggest international tech show to take place in Canada since before the Covid-19 pandemic began.

The total floor space needed at the Enercare Centre has increased by 54%, from 50,000sqm to 77,000sqm.

Founders and CEOs of the world’s most successful tech companies – Substack, Ethereum, Blockchain.com, Flexport, Cardano, Tezos, Binance, BlockFi, Chief, Calendly, Clearco, Cloudflare and many more – will speak across Collision’s 20-plus tracks, including on the brand new Crypto track.

The event will take place at a time when the price of Bitcoin and other cryptos have been nosediving in recent days.  Coinbase, the world's largest crypto exchange, just slashed 18% of its workforce.

Top Canadian speakers:

1password CEO Jeff Shiner; City of Toronto mayor John Tory; Canada’s minister of innovation, science and industry, François-Philippe Champagne; author Margaret Atwood; Clearco co-founder Michele Romanow; and former MKO Grand Chief (and member of Bunibonibee Cree Nation) Sheila North.
