Twitter Board Wants Musk Takeover Approved: Latest Odds

The Twitter board on Tuesday made it clear they want Elon Musk to take charge of the social media giant.  They filed a document with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that “unanimously recommends that you vote (for) the adoption of the merger agreement."

That agreement is worth $44 billion.

Furthermore, the board recommended that shareholders approve “the compensation that will or may become payable by Twitter to its named executive officers in connection with the merger”.

As of Tuesday morning, BetOnline odds for the Musk/Twitter takeover were:

Investors are expected to vote on the deal in late July or early August.
