Gambling911.com is monitoring closely the series between the red hot Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers for the month of July.  These teams meet in two separate series (home and away) with the Mariners owning a 9-2 record against Texas ahead of the first series that kicks off July 14.

Seattle had won its 8th straight game before a one-day rest on Monday.  The Mariners are now 45-42, but don't let that record fool you.  This is a result of a slow start to 2022.

Unfortunately for the Mariners, they play in a division where the Houston Astros continue to reign supreme and are up 12 games.  Seattle still has more than a half a season left to play catch up.

The Rangers have slackened off a bit and are four games down from Seattle as of July 11.

The line on these games should be under -180.

The pitcher to watch for, hopefully starting in both series, will be Robbie Ray.

He is 7-6, with a 3.51 ERA and 1.11 WHIP.  That might not seem too dominating.  Ray had three wins and four no-decisions in his last seven starts ahead of July 10, however.  And the news only gets better from there.  Ray has allowed four or fewer hits in his last six starts, going 6 or more innings.  Against the Rangers, Ray has been sick.  In 88 at bats, he's allowed a mere 12 hits at .124.

Trends to Watch for

The Mariners are an impressive 9-2 against the Rangers in their last 11 games

Seattle is 24-8 in the last 32 meetings

Only three of the Rangers eight wins were on the road

The Mariners-Astros series has mostly been a toss up of late with Houston also playing quite well
