Poker Pro Tiffany Michelle Takes Heat for Obama Interview

Tiffany Michelle made waves at the 2008 World Series of Poker as the "Last Lady Standing".  She came under some fire with PokerNews.com after the two had a falling out over a sponsorship deal at the 2008 WSOP.  In recent months, Michelle was a contestant on CBS' Amazing Race.

Now she's talking President Obama on Neil Cavuto's Fox Business show and it wasn't all pretty as Ms. Michelle found herself universally panned afterwards.

Michelle relied "way too heavily" on poker metaphors when describing Obama's performance.

"Yeah, generally you have a good hand, or you know if you have a bad hand, how to maneuver with that hand and take advantage of your opponent's weaknesses," she said when essentially being asked if Obama had a "good hand".

After Cavuto pointed out that Obama continues playing with the same "bad hand", the host asked Michelle the strategy behind such a move.

"What often happens for some players is you continue to push the issues, you continue to play the bad hands, you continue to get in sticky situations, and what really needs to happen is you need to step away from the table, you need to clear your head."

Certainly not the worst response we at Gambling911.com have ever heard, but she may have gone a little bit overboard with the poker metaphors during the rest of the issue.  Take this quote about Republican Scott Brown, who recently won the late Ted Kennedy's Senate seat in Massachusetts. 

"Talk about Scott Brown, that was a really bad beat for Barack Obama and the Democrats, who really thought they had a good chip lead there.  You know, they thought they had a lock on this tournament."
