BetOnline on Wednesday released its top futures liabilities for second half of the 2022 MLB season as the All-Star Break comes to a close. Additionally, BetOnline has odds on which teams still in contention have the best odds of heading to the Playoffs.
The Orioles are the top liability for the book when it comes to winning the World Series, shockingly.
Nearly 20% of the futures bets for this market are on the Dodgers, however. The Yankees weren't too far behind, seeing around 15% of the bets.
Baltimore is not among the top three bets to win, and they probably won't. Certainly the Cincinnati Reds will not. They are the second biggest liability.
The Orioles and Reds have enough action with hefty payout potentials.
BetOnline will do well to have any team but these four win the 2022 World Series.
Byron Buxton is the top liablity when it comes to the MVP market. Yordan Alvarez winning will also sting the books a bit. Buxton is not among the top 3 bets, Alvarez is.
