What Are the Regular Season Wins Total Odds for the Washington Huskies - 2022?

Oddsmakers at BetOnline have the Washington Huskies winning OVER 7.5 regular season games at -135.

Games against Michigan State, at UCLA and at Oregon would have to be thrown into the loss column early on when predicting the number of wins in 2022.  But that still allows for two more losses to get the OVER 7.5.

They are fortunate enough to avoid defending Pac-12 champion Utah and USC from the Pac-12 South.

Using last year's team power ratings, Arizona State would likely be an 8-point favorite at home versus the Huskies, but this year's ASU team is favored to win fewer regular season games than Washington.

The Huskies should be better and likely double their wins over last year's four to hit the OVER 7.5 and then some perhaps.

New head coach Kalen DeBoer was brought in to right the ship. He added Indiana transfer Michael Penix Jr. as his starting quarterback to go with two-year UW starter Dylan Morris and one-time five-star recruit Sam Huard.

The receiver corps will likely be the best thing going for Washington. They return three talented players from last season: Rome Odunze (41 receptions), Jalen McMillan (39) and Ja'Lynn Polk. Taj Davis (26 receptions, 12.7 ypr) joins that trio along with Giles Jackson and Arizona State transfer Lonyatta Alexander Jr.   They should also have some solid tight ends.
